Foreign Minister’s Commendations

Phnom Penh: On 20 August, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan made an announcement on the Foreign Minister’s Commendations for this year, which are awarded to individuals and groups with outstanding achievements in international fields, to acknowledge their contributions to the promotion of friendship between Japan and other countries and areas.

The recipients who are awarded the Commendations for their activities related to Cambodia are as follows:

H.E. Dr. Nao Thuok Secretary of State, Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, Cambodia and Contributions: Promotion of mutual understanding between Japan and Cambodia.

Mr. Yamada Yoshitaka Advisor, Royal Government of Cambodia and Contributions: Promotion of mutual understanding between Japan and Cambodia.

Mr. Morita Noritada Representative, Pride of Asia Preah Vihear Association Japan and Contributions: Promotion of economic relations between Japan and Cambodia.

Mr. Otani Kenji President, (General Incorporated Foundation) Cambodia Mines-remove Campaign and Contributions: Promotion of mutual understanding between Japan and Cambodia.

Awarding ceremonies will be organized in due course.
