Phnom Penh: Thursday, 23rd of January 2020. The Riellionaire Group together with the Brazilian International Football Academy (BIFA) Vietnam hosted a press conference for visiting Brazilian football legend, Roberto Carlos, at the Singapore Cambodia International Academy – SCIA.
BIFA Cambodia and the Riellionaire Group hosted the press conference to announce the tour of Brazilian football legend Roberto Carlos, the winner of multiple FIFA World Cups with the Brazilian team. Carlos is most famous for his nickname of the “left foot” and he also won the Golden Boot. An exclusive event to meet and welcome Roberto Carlos will be held at Amigos Restaurant on the 5th of February 2020.
Mr. Ricardo Alves Fernandes, Founder of BIFA Vietnam and over 20 years’ ex-professional football player for several teams in Brazil, the Middle East, Asia, and Europe, established BIFA – Brazilian International Football Academy in 2016 at Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
Mr. Ricardo, said “I am happy to cooperate with BIFA Cambodia and Vietnam here. We try to bring nice football and technique for the children in Cambodia. I am very happy to cooperate with the Riellionaire Group to have the Brazilian International Football Academy in Cambodia and we are hoping to develop football in Cambodia.”
Mr. Kuy Panchhey, CEO of Riellionaire Group speaking to media BIFA is starting in Cambodia and BIFA will be officially launched on the 5th of February 2020. For this special occasion, BIFA Cambodia also invited Brazilian football legend, Roberto Carlos, to visit Cambodia.
He also mentions that the football industry in Cambodia has become very popular now and the reason Riellionair invited Carlos because a lot of Cambodia people recognize this Brazilian football player. BIFA Cambodia wants legendary football players to encourage the children in Cambodia to play football and become professional players in the future.
Mr. Kuy Panchhey said, “We are working with many football clubs to insert the BIFA program in the schedule for football players to train, and we are working with many international schools in Cambodia to insert BIFA in the school program.”
He added more “We are also discussing with the Minister of Education Youth and Sports to develop the sport of football in Cambodia and to collaborate with all the schools. 90% of our coaches come from Brazil but we also have Cambodian coaches to support the program and especially we want Brazilian coaches and Cambodian coaches to ex-change experience.”
BIFA Cambodia is the first professional football academy to come to Cambodia. BIFA focuses on advanced football training for students aged 4-18. All BIFA coaches are either former international players or qualified international coaches. BIFA focuses on developing individual players first, then training them to work as a team.
