Prosperity Menus available at NagaWorld’s award-winning Chinese restaurant Fortune Palace (Level 1, NagaWorld) and the newly opened Hall of Golden Chimes (Level 5, Naga2) are serving sumptuous ‘Prosperity Yee Sang’, a quintessential Chinese New Year appetiser dish in Southeast Asia, featuring either salmon, tuna or clam for dine-in or takeaway with the option to top up with lobster or geoduck clam sashimi. Savouring Prosperity Yee Sang requires some specific actions from the diners known as “Prosperity Tossing”. The plate of neatly arranged ingredients are mixed together by tossing them high with chopsticks, accompanied by phrases of Chinese blessings, to welcome the Lunar New Year with good luck and fortune. It is known that the higher one tosses the ingredients, the more blessed that individual will be for the year.
