THE U.S. FOOD & BEVERAGE SHOWCASE HIGHLIGHTS AMERICAN CULINARY EXCELLENCE IN CAMBODIA

PHNOM PENH: The U.S. Embassy in Phnom Penh organized Cambodia’s first U.S. Food and Beverage trade show on August 8, 2024, at the Rosewood Hotel to highlight a diverse selection of American food and beverage offerings.

“U.S. ingredients are and will continue to be an important contributor to the successes of restaurants and the food and beverage sector in Cambodia,” said Acting Deputy Chief of Mission Aleks Zittle at the event.

The U.S. Food and Beverage Showcase Highlights American Culinary Excellence in Cambodia From meat and potatoes to dairy and wine, representatives from U.S. food associations across the region showed off a variety of U.S. products. Celebrity chef and founder of the Cambodian Chef Association Luu Meng welcomed representatives of top hotels, restaurants, trade associations, culinary schools, and, of course, foodies.

The event was made possible by the United States Department of Agriculture with support from the California Milk Advisory Board, the U.S. Soybean Export Council, the U.S. Dairy Export Council, the U.S. Meat Export Federation, Potatoes USA, and the U.S. Poultry and Egg Export Council.  Local distributors who contributed include AusKhmer, Lee’s, LSH, and Nice Blue, among others.
