PHNOM PENH: On 1st October 2022, the luxury hotel apartment named Himawari Hotel Apartments collaborated with the Craft Brewers Association of Cambodia, Cerevisia Craft Brewery to host and participate in the Brew Brathan Craft Beer tasting and competition.
During the competition, guests who attend the event can vote for the favorite best bear among the nine participating local breweries, along with beers from several brewing hobbyists.
All beers feature a new experimental hop sponsored by Yakima Chief Hops and participants get to try the first beers ever made with these hops in Cambodia and then cast their vote on the best beer.
The Himawari Microbrewery has received the Yakima Chief Award in first place for the best use of hop balance, interpretation, integration, and creativity for Sunny Ale craft beer.
