National Exchange Learning on Nutrition-Sensitive WASH Intervention Practices at Two Province

WASH and Nutrition SWG and CARD in collaboration with concerned Ministries, Development Partners, and sub-national committees on Food Security and Nutrition will organize the national exchange learning on Nutrition-sensitive WASH intervention practices in Kampong Thom and Siem Reap provinces from 24 to 27 May 2022.

WASH & Nutrition SWG/CARD with financial support by Plan International-Cambodia through National Partnership Actions for Nutrition-sensitive WASH Intervention (NAPA) aimed at influencing national policy and cross-sectoral engagement in improving maternal and child health, nutrition and WASH coverage, quality services, and service utilization.

The capacity of concerned sectors of government ministries, both national and sub-national levels on Nutrition sensitive WASH intervention is critical for coordination and collaboration to support intervention programs to achieve this objective.

This national exchange learning is a trip of high officials of government from concerned ministries for exchange learning and sharing on Nutrition-sensitive WASH intervention practices in communities.

The objectives of the project are to exchange learning and sharing of lessons learned and best practices between government institutions and community-led program practitioners on interventions of Nutrition-sensitive WASH. To enhance the capacity of policymakers of concerned ministries to conduct a participatory approach with the community-led actions on nutrition-sensitive WASH. To find out from the field learning by SWOT analysis to improve the community-led nutrition-sensitive WASH intervention.
