Robot to eliminate Covid

Thailand: A Thai developer working in a company in northern Bangkok has designed a remote-controlled robot to fight Covid, as it can go in narrow streets and infected places without exposing anyone to danger. The robot releases a fine mist floating in the air with a size of about one micron to detect the virus, brings it to the ground, and works to eliminate it.

Monvhai Wongsupakorn, Robot Developer at Safety Solution Ltd said, “We had seen the robot disinfection technology from China. So, we considered copying the prototype and contacted the developer in China. Then we designed this robot in cooperation with them.”

He added more “The Robot can shoot a mist that floats in the air that is approximately 1micron. The micro-mist will detect the virus and bacteria in the air and bring them to the ground which will automatically be disinfected on the surface of the ground.”

Police Major General Sana Niyomploy, Investigation and crime suppression in Nonthaburi Province said, “Nonthaburi and Bang Bua Thong is a high-risk zone, and there are many covid infection cases so we are concerned about the safety of the people who visit the police station.”

Kittisak Pitiphak, Robot Controller at Safety Solution Ltd said, “The robot disinfection car is easy to control, it’s similar to controlling a drone or kids toy car.”
