Phnom Penh: Friday, 29th of April 2020, the Cabinet Office of the Government of Japan announced the recipients of the 2020 Spring Conferment of Decorations to be bestowed upon individuals of merit in recognition of their national or public services, and in honor of their distinguished accomplishments in various areas in society. There are two recipients of the decorations for their contribution to promoting the relationship between Japan and Cambodia.
On His Excellency Mr. Ek Sonn Chan, Minister Delegate Attached to Prime Minister, the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold Rays with Neck Ribbon will be conferred in recognition of his contribution to promoting the relationship between Japan and Cambodia in the field of urban water supply.
On His Excellency Mr. Lou Kim Chhun, Delegate of the Royal Government in Charge as Chairman& CEO of the Sihanoukville Autonomous Port, the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold Rays with Neck Ribbon will be conferred in recognition of his contribution to promoting the relationship between Japan and Cambodia in the field of port development.
