Phnom Penh: Saturday, 11th January 2020 – Ecco, the Danish global shoe brand opened the first store in the kingdom of Cambodia at Aeon Mall Phnom Penh. The grand opening two-hour event showcased their latest shoe range in a series of fast-paced runway presentations to a myriad of guests, influencers and media.
The new outlet location, based on ECCOs new Prime Outlet concept, was specifically developed for premium locations and offers most of the local ECCO collection, stocking both men’s and women’s ranges.
It combines exclusive product presentation with integrated yet discrete storage, presenting itself with bright, white and high-gloss Scandinavian-inspired fixtures in combination with symbolic brand features, which is very much in line with the spirit of the ECCO shoes.
An added opening surprise was that the first 100 customers who purchased any items were gifted with a customized embossed leather shoehorn with their purchase.
Mr. PUM Sorya, Managing Director in Cambodia said, “I am excited to be able to introduce and welcome new and our loyal customers to our new store, where I am confident that we will be a successful part of the local business environment”.
