In the meeting between Hun Sen and the athletes, the Prime Minister not only expressed concern for the well-being of all players, but also expressed warm wishes for Athletes, Coaches, the Federation of Sports, the National Olympic Committee of Cambodia, and to all Cambodian groups. Hun Sen offered a special impetus for athletes of all types of sports to cultivate their spirit and greater competitive will within the groups.
Hun Sen also recommended 2 key points for all players before heading out:

2). All athletes must avoid use of stimulants or drugs that are harmful to health and detrimental to our national reputation.
Hun Sen expressed great pride in the growth of the Cambodian sports industry in the past few years. Specifically the Prime Minister thanked the coaches from other countries who have helped to train Cambodian players and thanked the Federation of Sports, the National Olympic Committee of Cambodia and all involved for their contributions to promote the growth of sports.
During this occasion, Hun Sen offered each athlete, Coach and member a $500 stipend for travel to the 30th SEA Games in the Philippines and he wished all players success in their respective tournaments as well.
