Phnom Penh: Monday 2nd of September 2019 Tun Dr Mahathir Bin Mohamad, Prime Minister of Malaysia attend the special dinner at Sofitel Phnom Penh Phokeethra’s ballroom. It is tradition of ASEAN leaders to visit neighbouring countries in ASEAN upon their appointment as Head of Government. This is the first visit in Cambodia by Tun Dr Mahathir Bin Mohamad after his appointment as the 7th Prime Minister of Malaysia and during this visit, he had the pleasure to meet Malaysian diaspora living in Cambodia as well. The dinner last night was attended by approximately 300 Malaysians.
