No. 31 PR-19/EoJ: The Embassy of Japan is pleased to inform that Japan Foundation Asia Center (JFAC) will invite a Japanese vocal dance group, TEMPURA KIDZ, to join Tanabata Festival 2019 in Phnom Penh from 12-15 July, 2019.
During their visit, they will hold some performances and workshops that you can find the details as below:
Stage Performance: (All stage performances are free entrance)
– Saturday, 13 July, 15:00-16:00 Opening Ceremony of Tanabata Festival 2019 at Angkor-Kizuna Hall, Cambodia-Japan Cooperation Center (CJCC)
– Sunday, 14 July, 11:00-13:00 ICHITAN Live Concert at Hang Meas Radio and
HDTV Station
– Sunday, 14 July, 18:00-19:00 Main Concert at Angkor-Kizuna Hall, CJCC
Dance Workshop
– Monday, 15 July, Morning at Royal University of Fine Arts
TEMPURA KIDZ is a vocal dance group consisting of one male and three female artists, which was founded in 2012 and performed in many occasions in Japan and abroad. Their powerful and energetic stage performance characterized by a highly sharp movement in dance. Alongside the performances, they also have organized dance workshops actively. So far, they have performed in 17 cities of 13 countries including Cambodia, where they first visited in 2017.
The Embassy hopes that their second visit to Cambodia will attract more audience by their amazing performance.
