The 10th “NODOJIMAN” Japanese Song Contest

PHOM PENH: Reference of Press Release No. 25PR-19/EoJ released on Friday, 19th of April, 2019 and The Embassy of Japan is pleased to announce that, the Embassy, in cooperation with the Cambodia-Japan Cooperation Center (CJCC), is going to hold the 10th “NODOJIMAN” Japanese Song Contest on Sunday, 14 July 2019　at the CJCC　during the Tanabata Festival 2019.The “NODOJIMAN” Japanese Song Contest has been held annually for the purpose of encouraging Japanese language learners to practice vocalization of the language. This contest also aims to strengthen friendship and mutual understanding between the people of Japan and Cambodia through the Japanese songs.

While Japanese language learners of all levels are invited to apply for the contest, it is not an individual competition but a school competition. The guideline of the application is the attached herewith.

Guideline for The 2019 “Nodojiman” Japanese Song Contest

Competition’s outline

  • This Contest is a school competition. Representatives of Japanese language school or university are required to ask the students’ intention and should consider to apply for participating in this contest from your schools.
  • The number of participants (or groups) from each school will be decided by the number of final applicants and the number of students in each school.
  • The Karaoke music for the contest is required to be prepared by participants or schools and submit it to the Embassy in advance.
  • This contest does not arrange a Karaoke machine, hence participants need to memorize the lyrics.
  • Program of the Contest

Date:                           14 July 2018 (Sun)

Rehearsal Time:          8:00 – 9:00

Contest Time:              9:30 – 12:00

The contest is held at CJCC during the Tanabata Festival (Star Festival) on 13 & 14 July 2019.

Entry Form Process

 

  1. The deadline of school application form is on 10 May 2019 (Fri).

  1. The Embassy will announce the accepted number of candidates of each school on 27 May 2019 (Mon).
  2. The candidate application form will be accepted until 21 June 2019 (Fri).

  1. The Karaoke music must be delivered to the Embassy until 28 June 2019 (Fri).
