Opening Ceremony of the Japan – Cambodia Kizuna Festival 2019 @ CJCC

PHNOM PENH: February of 21 is opening ceremony of the Japan – Cambodia Kizuna Festival 2019 at Cambodia – Japan Cooperation Center (CJCC). The guest of hornor to opening ceremony from Minister of Education, Youth and Sport – H.E. Dr. Hang Chuon Naron and many Japan Embassy and VIP guests. The Japan – Cambodia Kizuna Festival 2019 held on from February 21 until 24.

H.E. Mr. Hidehisa Horinouchi, Ambassador of Japan to Cambodia and H.E. Dr. Hang Chuon Naron, Minister of Education, Youth and Sport and VIP guests attend the opening ceremony.

During the opening ceremony of the Japan Cambodia Kizuna Festival H.E. Mr. Hidehisa Horinouchi, Ambassador of Japan to Cambodia said  “Kizuna Festival started in 2012 to promote exchanges between Japan and Cambodia in the field of culture and education. Since then, the Festival has been held annually with a great number of the participants, including young people who will bear the future of our friendship”.

H.E. Dr. Hang Chuon Naron, Minister of Education, Youth and Sport speech and welcome VIP guests opening ceremony.

He adds more “We have named the theme of this year’s festival as Experience Together. All of the Festival events will include experiences or activities that participants can make part in alongside Japanese and Cambodian artists or entertainers, such as leading Japanese street dance group Area Rock Styler the NINYO GIRLS who perform a hybrid of traditional and modern Japanese music and performances of traditional Khmer L’khon Bassac Theater. I recommend you to visit this year’s festival in T-shirt for easy joining all the activities and hope that many people will enjoy those experiences. Finally, I would like to extend my sincere appreciation to the CJCC and the Japan Foundation Asia Center, for your arrangements of this year festival with the Japanese Embassy .
