Singapore (Cambodia) International Academy organised the second Teen Entrepreneur Challenge (TEC) for students aged 12-16 years old. TEC seeks to highlight SCIA’s entrepreneurship programme and use of technology to make learning fun and relevant. Thirty-three students joined the competition. Through a two-day workshop, students received insights from Ear Uy, CEO of Sabay Osja, and the first AR gaming studio. Through Design Thinking Method taught by SCIA educators, students developed project ideas aiming at enhancing travel experiences in Cambodia using AR in mobile apps. The finals were held on 30 June at CKCC where top three teams pitched their project ideas to judges from VR Social Club, Touch Play Media and SCIA. SCIA will launch a series of Open House, starting from July 8. Parents and children are welcome to visit the school campus and find out more about studying at SCIA.
