Phnom Penh: December 20, 2024 The 250-km adventure along the Mekong River is back! First launched in December 2020 during the height of the pandemic by Véronique Messina, an ultra-trailer and traveler living in Cambodia, this extraordinary event combines the thrill of long-distance running and cycling with a powerful mission: raising awareness and funds for the NGO Ptea Clara.
From the outset, Véronique rallied friends, runners, and cyclists to create a unique event that has since raised over $66,000 for the children of Ptea Clara. Now, as the fifth edition kicks off, the spirit of teamwork, determination, and mutual support remains at its heart.
A 5-Day, 250 KM Journey for a Cause This year’s participants will cover 250 km over five days, from December 23rd to 28th, running or cycling together as a group. This isn’t a race—it’s a collaborative effort where teamwork ensures everyone reaches the final destination: Ptea Clara’s house. The event is supported by a fundraising initiative, with 100% of proceeds directly benefiting Ptea Clara, an NGO located 25 km from Phnom Penh.
The 250 km along Mekong are supported by the main sponsor, Wing Bank, and in partnership with Pépé Bistro, Ucare Pharmacy, Phnom Penh Accueil, KSO, KKRC (Kim Kok Running Club), Provida Water, Solution BI Cambodia, ALB Marketing & Events, and Decathlon Cambodia. and for your support to Ptea Clara by Wing Account 100777866 and D’une famille à l’autre.

Ptea Clara provides a safe and nurturing home for 150 children in precarious or underprivileged situations.
