PHNOM PENH: On Thursday, 25 April 2024, Urbanland celebrated a momentous groundbreaking ceremony for K Mall Prek Thnoat. This officially marks the exciting beginning of construction for a brand-new community mall, located near the entrance of Borey Chankiri along the National Road 2.
The groundbreaking ceremony was presided over by Mr. Hok Kang, co-founder and CEO of Urbanland along with executive committee members of Urbanland, Borey Chankiri, K Mall, and other respective guests.
K Mall Prek Thnoat is poised to rejuvenate the surrounding area with the first phase of the mall, which will be open to the public in mid-2025. With its human-centered design, K Mall Prek Thnoat creates spaces for community engagement and interaction for all residents. It features creative architecture incorporating eye-catching features, vibrant colors, and ample greenery, conveniently located just minutes away from Samdech Hun Sen Boulevard and only a short 15-minute drive from Techo International Airport.
Also, K Mall Prek Thnoat is designed to cater to the thriving community of Borey Chankiri. With over 300 families set to move in as the project nears completion, it aims to enhance the daily lives of Chankiri residents. Meanwhile, Borey Chankiri 2’s construction has already commenced and will soon be able to benefit from this upcoming mall. This one-step-away community mall will not only offer Chankiri residents a variety of options but also contribute to the overall vibrancy and development of the South Side.
Spanning approximately 8,000 square meters of land, K Mall Prek Thnoat strategically serves as a convenient stop for all commuters along National Road 2, providing access to necessary retail and eatery options.
