Plan International Cambodia supports and participates in the launch of the “Strategic Plan on Social Service in Cambodia 2022-2031”

Plan International Cambodia supported and participated in the Official launching event “Business case on investment in Social Service Workforce in Cambodia and Strategic Plan on Social Service Workforce 2022-2031; including the Job description of assigned officials in charge of social affairs at Municipalities, Districts and Khan” on this morning, April 4, 2022.

Mrs. Gwynneth Wong, Country Director of Plan International Cambodia expressed her deep gratitude to the Ministry of Social Affairs Veteran and Youth Rehabilitation for organizing this important launching event under the leadership of His Excellency Vong Soth, Minister of Social Affairs Veteran and Youth Rehabilitation.

Mrs. Gwynneth said, “the social services workforce plays an important role in supporting and promoting the well-being of children, families, and vulnerable groups by identifying and managing risks, facilitating access to and provision of social support services, and ensuring that supportive families receive the welfare services they need.”
