As a part of the Group’s ongoing steps to promote confidence in every stay and to
provide exceptional experiences for all travelers, Dara Hotels Group launches “Stay Safe
with Dara Hotels” program making rapid antigen covid-19 test mandatory to all
properties across Cambodia starting 1st of September 2021.
This mandatory rapid testing will be administered on-site at every Dara Hotels portfolio
across Cambodia by expert Associates that underwent proper training from the Ministry
of Health.
Mr. Richard L. Dusome FIH, Dara Hotels Group Managing Director said, “Given all that we have been through with COVID 19, we want to offer a sense of confidence knowing you and others are safe at your chosen Dara property,”. He added, “The safety and well-being of our guests, our service teams is paramount to us, allowing you to relax and refresh. For this reason, Dara Hotels have taken the extra step of having on-site COVID19 testing”.
Rapid antigen covid-19 test will be available free of charge for guests booking a
minimum of 2 nights stay and a nominal charge for a 1-night stay with the following
options:
• Self-administered COVID-19 tests using their own rapid test kit. Brands
accepted are Abbot, Healgen, Indicaid, Roche, and SD Biosensor
• Guests can purchase the rapid test from the hotel for $5.00 at the hotel’s front
office and can self-administer with the supervision of the hotel’s certified team
member.
• If the guests request that the Hotel trained personnel to perform the test, an
extra charge of $10.00 for the first guest and $5.00 for subsequent tests for
guests staying in the same room.
In the event, if someone does test positive, necessary protocols from the Ministry of
Health will be followed. Guests can also expect elevated cleanliness standards and hospitality norms including guest and associate face-covering requirements, social distancing policies, reduced seating capacity for public spaces, frequent cleaning of high touch areas, and hand sanitizing stations throughout the hotel.
