Phnom Penh: Tuesday, 19^th of November 2019. The opening ceremony of the 2019 Japanese Film Festival was held in the Major Cineplex AEON Mall in Phnom Penh. Dignitaries present included H.E. Mr. Som Sokun, Secretary of State and Representative of H.E. Minister of Culture and Fine Arts, H.E. Mr. MIKAMI Masahiro, Ambassador of Japan and Mr. KUSAKABE Yosuke, Director of Japan Foundation Asia Center Phnom Penh Office.

Mr. KUSAKABE Yosuke, Director of Japan Foundation Asia Center Phnom Penh Office, H.E. Mr. Som Sokun, Secretary of State and Representative of H.E. Minister of Culture and Fine Arts and H.E. Mr. MIKAMI Masahiro, Ambassador of Japan Cambodia.

In his opening remarks, Ambassador MIKAMI expressed his deep condolences for the passing away of HRH Samdech Preah Reach Botrei Preah Ream Norodom Buppha Devi and remembered her life devoted to Khmer culture, her generosity for cultural exchanges, and especially her presence at many Japanese cultural events, including the 2016 Japanese Film Festival.

Ambassador MIKAMI also expressed his appreciation to the Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts, Cambodia-Japan Cooperation Center, Japan Foundation Asia Center and many volunteer students for their support for the 2019 Japanese Film Festival.

After the opening ceremony, a heart-warming family film, “My Dad is a Heel Wrestler” was screened and applauded by the audience. From Tuesday, November 19 through November 24, the Japanese Film Festival will screen 10 of the latest Japanese films at the Major Cineplex AEON I &II and Legend TK Avenue. The public is encouraged to come support the festival.

ក្នុងសុន្ទរកថា ឯកឧត្តម មិកាមិ ម៉ាសាហ៊ីរ៉ូ ឯកអគ្គរាជទូតជប៉ុន បានចូលរួមរំលែកទុក្ខយ៉ាងក្រៀមក្រំ ដែលសម្តេចរាជបុត្រី ព្រះរៀម នរោត្តម បុប្ផាទេវី បានសោយព្រះទីវង្គត និងរំឭកពីការលះបង់របស់ទ្រង់ដើម្បីថែរក្សាវប្បធម៌ខែ្មរ ក៏ដូចជាព្រះទ័យយកចិត្តទុកដាក់ទៅលើការផ្លាស់ប្តូរវប្បធម៌ ជាពិសេសគឺព្រះវត្តមានរបស់ទ្រង់នៅក្នុងកម្មវិធីវប្បធម៌ជប៉ុនផ្សេងៗ ក្នុងនោះក៏រួមមានមហោស្រពភាពយន្តជប៉ុនកាលពីឆ្នាំ2016 ផងដែរ។

ឯកឧត្តម ក៏បានថ្លែងអំណរគុណយ៉ាងជ្រាលជ្រៅចំពោះក្រសួងវប្បធម៌ និងវិចិត្រសិល្បៈ មជ្ឈមណ្ឌលសហប្រតិបត្តិការកម្ពុជាជប៉ុន JFAC និងក្រុមនិស្សិតស្ម័គ្រចិត្ត ទាំងអស់សម្រាប់ការចូលរួមសហការក្នុងមហោស្រពភាពយន្តជប៉ុនឆ្នាំ2019។

ភ្ញៀវអញ្ជើញចូលរួមពិធីបើកមហោស្រពភាពយន្តជប៉ុនប្រចាំឆ្នាំ2019នៅរោងភាពយន្ត Major Cineplex AEON Mall ភ្នំពេញ

នាល្ងាចកម្មវិធីបើកមហោស្រពភាពយន្តជប៉ុនឆ្នាំ2019 គឺមានការចាក់បញ្ចាំងភាពយន្តបែបគ្រួសារកក់ក្តៅ រឿង «My Dad is a Heel Wrestler» ដែលដឹកនាំដោយលោក FUJIMURA Kyohei ដែលសាច់រឿងក្នុងខ្សែភាពយន្តនេះត្រូវបានបំផុសគំនិតដោយសៀវភៅរឿងមួយសម្រាប់កុមារដែលមានចំណងជើងដូចគ្នា និងទទួលបាននូវស្នូរសម្លេងទះដៃពីទស្សនិកជនយ៉ាងខ្លាំង។

គួរបញ្ជាក់ផងដែលថាចាប់ពីថ្ងៃទី19 រហូតដល់ថ្ងៃទី24 ខែវិច្ឆិកា ហើយលោក លោកស្រី និងភ្ញៀវកិត្តិយសទាំងអស់អាចអញ្ជើញទៅទស្សនាការចាក់បញ្ចាំងខ្សែភាពយន្តជប៉ុនចំនួន 10រឿង នៅរោងភាពយន្ត Major Cineplex AEON Mall ភ្នំពេញ និង AEON Mall សែនសុខ ព្រមទាំងនៅរោងភាពយន្ត Legend សាខាទួលគោក។

Japanese Film Festival 2019 @ Major Cineplex and Legend Cinema

Phnom Penh: The Japan Foundation in cooperation with the Embassy of Japan, the Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts and Cambodia-Japan Cooperation Center (CJCC) will organize the “Japanese Film Festival 2019” on 20th – 24th of November in Phnom Penh at Major Cineplex of AEON Mall I and II and at Legend Cinema of TK Avenue and on 6th – 10th of December in Siem Reap Major Cineplex.

During the Festival, Japanese films selected from a wide range of different categories will be screened at the above-mentioned major theaters. The selection includes drama, Mystery, Musical, Animation, History and Comedy. These films portray various aspects of Japanese life, society and culture and will provide a good opportunity for audience to familiarize themselves with Japan and its people.

The 10 Japanese films will be screened with Khmer and English Subtitles. Screening schedule is published on the Japanese Film Festival website at the following link: http://kh.japanesefilmfest.org/screening-schedule/, The admission is free.

Japanese Film Festival has been held every year since 2015 to promote cultural exchange between Japan and Cambodia.
