The students are [&#8230;]]]></description><content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>Phnom Penh: </strong>Based on Press Release No. 63 PR-19/EoJ. 9 Cambodian high school students and 1 supervisor are going to visit Japan from 1<sup>st</sup> to 9<sup>th</sup> of December 2019 at the invitation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan under JENESYS (Japan-East Asia Network of Exchange for Students and Youth) 2019.</p><p>The students are the winners of the primary in-country contest for the <strong>“Asian International Children&#8217;s Film Festival 2019”</strong>, which was held on the 16<sup>th</sup> of September 2019, Three of the winners are from Phnom Penh. The other six students and a supervisor are from Preah Monivong High School in Battambang Province.</p><p>The three films produced by the students were nominated for the festival&#8217;s final contest to be held on 7<sup>th</sup> of December in Minami-Awaji City, Hyogo Prefecture. The students will join the contest to present their work in-person.</p><p><img data-recalc-dims="1" fetchpriority="high" decoding="async" class="alignnone wp-image-6426 size-full" src="https://i0.wp.com/findyournews.media/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/IMG_0313.jpg?resize=696%2C389" alt="" width="696" height="389" />During their visit, they will also have opportunities to take part in a city tour and school exchange programs. The detailed schedule is attached herewith.</p><p>JENESYS aims to promote mutual trust and understanding among the people of Japan with participating countries and regions, and to build a basis for future friendship and cooperation. The participants will have experience of rugby with Japanese high school students and the other participants from the other ASEAN countries and Timor-Leste in Shizuoka Prefecture. On 20th of September, they will also watch the opening game of Rugby World Cup 2019 in Tokyo. They will have joint training with members of Japanese national team and the canoe tournament at Lake Kiba Canoe Sprint Course in Komatsu-city, Ishikawa Prefecture. Mr. HORINOUCHI Hidehisa, Ambassador of Japan to the Kingdom of Cambodia, hosted at his residence the Conferment Ceremony of the Imperial Decoration of the <b>Grand Cordon of the </b><b>Order of the Rising Sun </b>on His Royal Highness Samdech Norodom Sirivudh, former Deputy Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia and High Privy Counselor of His Majesty the King of Cambodia.</p><p><img data-recalc-dims="1" loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone wp-image-4606 size-full" src="https://i0.wp.com/findyournews.media/wp-content/uploads/2019/08/DSC09992.jpg?resize=696%2C392" alt="" width="696" height="392" />The decoration was decided on May 21 , 201 9 by the Cabinet Office of the Government of Japan in recognition of His Royal Highness contribution to strengthening relationship and friendship between Japan and Cambodia.</p><p>Honorable guests were invited to the ceremony, during which the decoration was bestowed upon Samdech Norodom Sirivudh by H.E. Their powerful and energetic stage performance characterized by a highly sharp movement in dance. Alongside the performances, they also have organized dance workshops actively.
