Leading off the “Japan Travel Fair” was H.E. MIKAMI Masahiro Ambassador of Embassy of Japan in Cambodia, who opened the two day event with his remarks.  H.E. Dr. Thong Khon, Minister of Tourism of the Kingdom of Cambodia and attendance number of VIP guests were also in attendance. The fair was sponsored by AEON Mall Sen Sok City, All Nippon Airways Co., Ltd, World Pop Travel & Tour and other manufacturers of products from Japan. The event also showcased some activities such teaching guests to make chopsticks, make paper cranes, etc…

Japan Travel Fair took place the 7^th and 8^th of December and included many interesting activities such as a Japanese traditional drum performance, which was performed by Mekong Daiko Japanese team based in Phnom Penh. The participants also experienced a Japan Tour with virtual reality, which uses cutting-edge technology as well as Yukata trial and Origami class. The number of Cambodian tourists to Japan has been growing with an estimated 22,000 Cambodians in 2019, up from 3,000 in 2010.

Kathryn Chandria Manuel Bernardo born March 26, 1996 is a Filipina actress, model and recording artist. She became known for her role as Mara in the hit TV series Mara Clara (2010–2011). She won “Best Actress” awards at the 35th PMPC Star Awards for Movies and Entertainment Editors’ Choice Awards for Movies, or The EDDY’S 2019 for her outstanding portrayal as George.

Richard Reyes Faulkerson Jr. was born January 2, 1992, popularly known by his stage name Alden Richards, is a Filipino actor, host, model and recording artist. Richards is dubbed as the Asia’s Multimedia Star after winning the 2019 Seoul International Drama Award, Asian Star Prize award equivalent to best acting award, held in South Korea. His notable works include Alakdana, Tween Hearts, One True Love, Carmela, The Road, Imagine You and Me, Victor Magtanggol and Hello, Love, Goodbye. He is also known for his role as Lakan in the reboot series of Encantadia. During the 29th PMPC Star Awards for Television in 2015, Richards won his first Best Actor award for his portrayal of José Rizal in Ilustrado.

As a recording artist, Richards released two albums, a self-titled album in 2013 under Universal Records and Wish I May in 2015 under GMA Music.
