ពិព័រណ៍នេះត្រូវបានរៀបចំឡើងដើម្បីអបអរសាទរវត្តមាន២៥ ឆ្នាំ នៃស្ថាបត្យកម្មបារាំងនៅកម្ពុជាដែលបានវិវត្តជាបន្តបន្ទាប់ទៅរកទស្សនវិស័យកាន់តែទូលំទូលាយដោយឆ្លុះបញ្ចាំងពីតម្លៃនៃសហគមន៍ហ្វ្រង់កូហ្វូនី (Francophonie) រួមមាន៖ ការសន្ទនា ភាពចម្រុះ និងការកសាងរួមគ្នា។ ក្នុងទិសដៅឆ្ពោះទៅរកកិច្ចប្រជុំកំពូលហ្វ្រង់កូហ្វូនីដែលនឹងប្រព្រឹត្តទៅក្នុងខែវិច្ឆិកា ឆ្នាំ២០២៥ នៅរាជធានីភ្នំពេញពិព័រណ៍ «ការបន្ស៊ាំខ្លួនទៅនឹងបរិបទ» ជាសក្ខីភាពសមត្ថភាពរបស់អ្នកនិយាយភាសាបារាំង និងប្រជាជនកម្ពុជាក្នុងកិច្ចសហការដើម្បីដោះស្រាយបញ្ហាប្រឈមសម័យទំនើបទាំងផ្នែកនគរូបនីយកម្ម បរិស្ថាន និងសង្គម ។

ការតាំងពិព័រណ៍នេះត្រូវបានរៀបចំឡើងជុំវិញប្រធានបទបីដែលរៀបចំដំណើរទស្សនា៖

លំហឯកជន និងសាធារណៈ៖ តើស្ថាបត្យកម្មកម្ពុជាសម័យ​ទំនើបបែងចែករវាងលំហឯកជន និងទីកន្លែងរួមយ៉ាងដូចម្តេច? នៅអាស៊ីអាគ្នេយ៍ច្រកចេញចូលតែងមានភាពបត់បែនមុខអគារបើកចំហរទៅផ្លូវ ហើយលំហរួមត្រូវបានសង់ឡើងតាមការប្រើប្រាស់ និងភាពជិតស្និទ្ធ​។

ការអភិរក្ស និងការបង្កើតឡើងវិញនូវបេតិកភណ្ឌ៖ ពីវិមានសម័យ​អង្គររហូតដល់ស្ថាបត្យកម្មសម័យអាណានិគមឆ្លងកាត់សម័យសង្គមរាស្ត្រនិយម និងសំណង់ក្រោយសម័យសង្គ្រាម សំណង់ប្រវត្តិសាស្ត្រទាំងនេះមិនមែនគ្មានតម្លៃនោះទេ ប៉ុន្តែជាធនធានដែលអាចយកមកប្រើប្រាស់ឡើងវិញ។ ការកែច្នៃ ការបន្ស៊ាំ និងការប្រើប្រាស់ឡើងវិញ ក្លាយជាសកម្មភាពដែលគិតគូរទាំងបរិស្ថាន និងវប្បធម៌។

ការបន្ស៊ាំទៅនឹងលក្ខខណ្ឌអាកាសធាតុ៖ នៅក្នុងតំបន់ត្រូពិច ការរចនាមានន័យថា ការរួមបញ្ចូលគ្នាជាមួយខ្យល់ ម្លប់ ភ្លៀង និងវត្ថុធាតុដើម។ ស្ថាបត្យកម្មក្លាយជាឧបករណ៍សម្រួលអាកាសធាតុនៅពេលដែលបញ្ចូលកត្តាទាំងនេះយ៉ាងពេញលេញ ដោយមិនពឹងផ្អែកលើបច្ចេកវិទ្យាដោយប្រើដំណោះស្រាយតាមបរិបទជាក់ស្តែង។

ដើម្បីបង្ហាញពីប្រធានបទទាំងនេះ វិចិត្រសាលមានការដាក់បង្ហាញសម្ភារជាច្រើនដូចជា៖ ប្លង់គំរូ រូបថត ប្លង់បច្ចេកទេស និងវត្ថុធាតុដើមដែលដកស្រង់ចេញពីគម្រោងជាក់ស្តែង។ ការរៀបចំពិព័រណ៍ដែលរចនាដោយភ្នាក់ងារ Melon Rouge Agency ផ្តល់ជូននូវបទពិសោធន៍ដ៏អស្ចារ្យហើយសាធារណជនអាចចូលទស្សនា​អគារប្រចាំថ្ងៃ និងសំណង់ល្បីៗ ក្នុងជ្រុងថ្មីមួយដែលបង្ហាញពីសំណង់តក្កអរូបិយនៅជុំវិញយើង (ការសាងសង់តាមជំនឿ និងហុងស៊ុយ)។

«ពិព័រណ៍នេះកើតចេញពីបំណងប្រាថ្នាសាមញ្ញមួយ គឺបង្ហាញពីអ្វីដែលកំពុងត្រូវបានសាងសង់នៅទីនេះ ក្នុងប្រទេស កម្ពុជា ដោយស្ថាបត្យករដែលគិតគូរ និងរចនា ដែលមានទំនាក់ទំនងជាមួយទឹកដីខ្មែរជានិច្ច។ ជាការសន្ទនារវាងវប្បធម៌ បេតិកភណ្ឌ និងការរចនា។ ក្នុងទិសដៅឆ្ពោះទៅរកកិច្ចប្រជុំកំពូលហ្វ្រង់កូហ្វូនី ពិព័រណ៍ការរបន្ស៊ាំខ្លួនទៅនឹងបរិបទ  គឺជាភស្តុតាងជាក់ស្តែងនៃការប្តេជ្ញាចិត្តរបស់យើង៖ កិច្ចសហប្រតិបត្តិការវប្បធម៌បារាំង-កម្ពុជា មិនមែនគ្រាន់តែជារូបភាពខាងក្រៅឡើយ ប៉ុន្តែវាគឺជាការរួមគ្នាស្ថាបនាដែលទាមទារការយកចិត្តទុកដាក់ និងមានភាពរស់រវើក»។​ នេះជាការលើកឡើងពី Fanny Pagès អនុប្រធានវិទ្យាស្ថានបារាំងកម្ពុជា និងជាអនុព័ន្ធវប្បធម៌។

Initially conceived to celebrate 25 years of French architectural presence in Cambodia, the exhibition has gradually evolved into a broader perspective, in line with the values of the Francophonie: dialogue, diversity, and co-construction. In the lead-up to the Francophonie Summit, scheduled for November 2025 in Phnom Penh, Adaptation(s) highlights the ability of Francophone and Cambodian stakeholders to collaborate in addressing contemporary challenges—urban, environmental, and social.

The exhibition is structured around three main themes guiding the visitor’s journey:

Private and public spaces: how does contemporary Cambodian architecture negotiate the boundary between intimate and shared spaces? In Southeast Asia, thresholds expand, façades engage with the street, and collective space is shaped through use and proximity.

Preservation and reinvention of heritage: from Angkorian monuments to colonial architecture, including the modernist legacy of the Sangkum era and post-war constructions, these layers are not static relics but resources to be activated. Transforming, adapting, and reusing become both ecological and cultural acts.

Adaptation to climatic conditions: in a tropical climate, designing first means working with air, shade, rain, and materials. Architecture becomes a climatic device when it fully integrates these parameters, favoring contextual responses over technical accumulation.

To illustrate these themes, the gallery presents a variety of media: models, photographs, plans, and materials drawn from the projects of participating firms. The exhibition design, created by Melon Rouge Agency, offers an immersive and accessible experience for all audiences, inviting visitors to take a fresh look at both everyday buildings and landmark projects, revealing the invisible dynamics shaping our built environment.

“This exhibition was born from a simple desire: to showcase what is being built here in Cambodia by architects who design in constant dialogue with their environment. It is a conversation between cultures, heritages, and practices. In the perspective of the Francophonie Summit, adaptation(s) is a concrete illustration of our commitment: Franco-Cambodian cultural cooperation is not just a statement—it is a demanding and vibrant collective construction.”  Fanny Pagès, deputy director of the French Institute of Cambodia and cultural attaché.

 As with each exhibition, the French Institute of Cambodia offers a rich accompanying programme designed to broaden audiences and deepen the themes explored: guided tours for school groups and NGOs; roundtable discussions on the exhibition’s topics; as well as a film series on architecture, including a screening of the documentary Moriyama-San by Ila Bêka and Louise Lemoine, followed by a discussion with architect Antoine Miennel (Bloom Architecture), scheduled for 30 May.

The event welcomed around 300 registered guests, transforming the venue into an elegant gathering inspired by the glamour of New York’s golden era in the 1970s and 1980s. Dressed predominantly in white — a symbol of confidence, courage, and empowerment — attendees enjoyed a vibrant evening filled with connection, celebration, and meaningful purpose.

More than a celebration, Women in White served as a fundraising initiative in support of World Vision International, raising USD 2,740.60 to assist ongoing humanitarian efforts for families affected by the border conflict. Since the beginning of the crisis, World Vision has mobilized resources and initiatives to deliver emergency relief, safeguard children, and help communities rebuild their lives with dignity and resilience.

Following the event, the funds were officially handed over to World Vision International to support these ongoing efforts, providing essential resources, protection, and renewed opportunities for vulnerable families—especially women and children.

The evening featured a thoughtfully curated program of entertainment, cultural performances, and interactive activities. Highlights included a captivating Chinese classical dance performance, adding a graceful cultural dimension to the celebration, alongside a lively Lucky Draw that brought moments of excitement throughout the night. One of the most anticipated segments—the Best Dressed of the Evening—captured the spirit of the theme, with three standout winners recognized for their elegance and creativity, energizing the entire room.

Adding a meaningful and emotional dimension to the evening, guests were invited to write handwritten letters of encouragement addressed to families—particularly women—living near the border areas affected by conflict. These heartfelt messages aimed to inspire hope, resilience, and solidarity during the International Women’s Day period, reminding recipients that they are not alone in their struggles.

The program also featured remarks from key representatives, highlighting the significance of collaboration and community support.

During the opening remarks, Ms. Lenen Mar Porras, Director of Sales & Marketing of Oakwood Premier Phnom Penh , shared the following: “Every year, as we celebrate International Women’s Day, this gathering becomes more than a celebration—it is a reminder that when a community comes together with compassion and purpose, real change can happen.

This year, we are proud to support the important work of World Vision, helping women and children affected by recent tensions as they begin their journey toward recovery, stability, and hope.”

Continuing the message of empowerment and collaboration, Ms. Kim Tol Tan, Chair of AmCham Cambodia Women’s Women’s Steering Committee of AmCham Cambodia, addressed the audience and highlighted the importance of unity, encouragement, and mutual support among women in business and leadership: “The Women’s Steering Committee at AmCham Cambodia, together with our partners, are channeling the proceeds from this evening toward supporting those children and women in need—because we believe that the most powerful thing women can do when they come together in a room like this one is reach beyond it.”

Echoing this spirit of collective impact, Ms. Phal Malileak, Emergency Response Manager of World Vision International, also expressed her appreciation for the community’s generosity and emphasized the importance of sustained humanitarian support: “Behind every number is a real family with a story. Many of the women and children we support have faced incredibly difficult journeys—losing their homes, their sense of security, and sometimes even their loved ones. Yet within these families we continue to see remarkable resilience and hope.”

Ms. Phal Malileak continues, “At World Vision, our vision is to walk alongside them, helping rebuild not only their livelihoods but also their confidence and future. The support from this community tonight reminds them that they are not alone and that together we can help create new opportunities for healing, stability, and hope.”

លោកស្រី ឃ្យុងណាន់ ផាក (Kyung-nan Park) នាយិកាកម្មវិធីស្បៀងអាហារពិភពលោកប្រចាំប្រទេសកម្ពុជា បានមានប្រសាសន៍ថា៖ «គម្រោងនេះតំណាងឱ្យជំហានដ៏សំខាន់មួយក្នុងការលើកកម្ពស់អាហារូបត្ថម្ភ និងសុខុមាលភាពរបស់កម្មករ កម្មការិនីរោងចក្រនៅកម្ពុជា។ តាមរយៈការដាក់បញ្ចូលអង្ករមីក្រូសារជាតិទៅក្នុងរបបអាហារប្រចាំថ្ងៃ យើងកំពុងជួយផ្តល់នូវសារធាតុចិញ្ចឹមដែលពួកគាត់ត្រូវការក្នុងការរក្សាសុខភាពឱ្យបានកាន់តែប្រសើរ ដើម្បីអាចទ្រទ្រង់គ្រួសារ និងរួមចំណែកដល់កំណើនសេដ្ឋកិច្ចជាបន្តបន្ទាប់របស់កម្ពុជា»។

ឯកឧត្តម ប៉ាន ប៊ុនធឿន រដ្ឋលេខាធិការក្រសួងផែនការបានគូសបញ្ជាក់ពីការគាំទ្ររបស់រាជរដ្ឋាភិបាលចំពោះគំនិតផ្តួចផ្តើមនេះថា៖ «គម្រោងនេះ គឺជាសក្ខីភាពបង្ហាញពីការប្តេជ្ញាចិត្តរបស់យើងចំពោះសុខុមាលភាពនៃកម្លាំងពលកម្មរបស់កម្ពុជា។ តាមរយៈការដោះស្រាយបញ្ហាកង្វះអាហារូបត្ថម្ភក្នុងចំណោមកម្មករ កម្មការិនីរោងចក្រកាត់ដេរ យើងកំពុងវិនិយោគលើសុខភាព ផលិតភាព និងវិបុលភាពនាពេលអនាគតនៃប្រជាជនយើងដែលជាកត្តាចាំបាច់សម្រាប់ការអភិវឌ្ឍជាតិប្រកបដោយចីរភាព»។

កម្មវិធីស្បៀងអាហារពិភពលោករួមជាមួយដៃគូនានា ដូចជាអង្គការស្បៀង និងកសិកម្មនៃសហប្រជាជាតិ (FAO) អង្គការសុខភាពពិភពលោក (WHO) និងមូលនិធិសហប្រជាជាតិដើម្បីកុមារ (UNICEF) ព្រមទាំងស្ថាប័នរាជរដ្ឋាភិបាល និងភាគីពាក់ព័ន្ធក្នុងវិស័យឯកជនដើម្បីធានាបាននូវការអនុវត្តប្រកបដោយការសម្របសម្រួល និងមានចីរភាព។ គំនិតផ្តួចផ្តើមនេះត្រូវបានរំពឹងថានឹងក្លាយជាគំរូសម្រាប់ការពង្រីកបន្ថែមលើការបញ្ចូលមីក្រូសារជាតិក្នុងចំណីអាហារទៅគ្រប់ប្រព័ន្ធស្បៀងអាហារនៅក្នុងប្រទេសកម្ពុជាក្នុងគោលបំណងសំដៅជំរុញឱ្យបានទូលំទូលាយអំពីការកាត់បន្ថយកង្វះអាហារូបត្ថម្ភ និងលើកកម្ពស់កំណើនសេដ្ឋកិច្ចប្រកបដោយបរិយាបន្ន៕

With a contribution of USD1.5 million from the Government of Japan, the initiative is expected to reach more than 50,000 factory workers, employed in the garment and textile sectors, across 118 factories located in the Royal Group Phnom Penh Special Economic Zone and Royal Group Kandal Special Economic Zones  over five years.

The project, titled “Breaking the Cycle of Malnutrition in Cambodia: Fortifying the Food Plate of Garment Factory Workers,” was officially launched at the Phnom Penh Special Economic Zone and aims to address micronutrient deficiencies and improve workers’ health and productivity.

“Japan is proud to support Cambodia in addressing malnutrition through practical and scalable solutions. By improving access to nutritious food for garment workers, this initiative contributes not only to better health outcomes but also to stronger communities and a more resilient economy,” said MATSUDA Junsaku, Counsellor, Embassy of Japan in Cambodia, reaffirming Japan’s commitment to inclusive and sustainable development.

Cambodia’s garment sector is a major driver of economic growth, employing hundreds of thousands of workers. However, many, particularly women, face high rates of malnutrition, including anaemia and other micronutrient deficiencies. Poor nutrition not only affects individual health and well-being but also affects  productivity, income, and national development.

Through this initiative, WFP and partners will introduce fortified rice into factory meal programmes, ensuring workers receive essential vitamins and minerals through their daily diets. As rice is Cambodia’s  primary staple food, fortification provides a practical andcost-effective way to improve nutrition without requiring changes to established eating habits.

The project will work closely with factory owners, food suppliers, and national stakeholders to:

• integrate fortified rice into workplace meal programme systems
• Strengthen supply chains and quality assurance for fortified foods
• Build capacity among producers and millers
• Raise awareness among workers on the benefits of improved nutrition.

“This project represents a crucial step toward improving the nutrition and well-being of Cambodia’s garment workers,” said Kyung-nan Park, WFP Representative and Country Director in Cambodia. “By integrating fortified rice into daily meals, we are helping workers access the nutrients they need to stay healthy, support their families, and contribute to Cambodia’s continued economic growth.” 

H.E. Pan Buntheoun, Secretary of State, Ministry of Planning (MoP), highlighted the government’s support for the initiative: “This project exemplifies our commitment to the well-being of Cambodia’s workforce. By addressing malnutrition among garment workers, we are investing in the health, productivity, and future prosperity of our people, which is essential for sustainable national development.”  

WFP will work  with partners including the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), World Health Organization (WHO), and United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), alongside government institutions and private sector stakeholders, to ensure coordinated and sustainable implementation.

This initiative is expected to serve as a model for scaling up food fortification across Cambodia’s food systems, advancing the country’s broader goals to reduce malnutrition and promote inclusive economic growth.

The funding is part of Japan’s Grant Assistance for Japanese NGO Projects and will be implemented by World Vision Japan through a project titled “Improve Primary Education Quality and Advance Children’s Learning and Teaching in Rural Cambodia (IMPACT).”

The grant agreement was signed on March, 25, 2026, between Japanese Ambassador H.E. UENO Atsushi and a representative of the implementing organization, Chiba Mina, Project Director of World Vision Japan, and a representative of Dr. Kann Puthy, Director of the Department of Primary Education of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports

According to the project details, the initiative aims to enhance learning outcomes among young children in rural areas of Kampong Thom by strengthening teaching quality and improving school environments. Key activities include training teachers in targeted schools, organizing remedial classes based on student assessments, and upgrading learning conditions to better support student development.

Underscoring Japan’s commitment to grassroots development, Ambassador Ueno Atsushi signed an agreement to provide US$490,000 in aid. These funds will enable World Vision Japan to implement life-changing initiatives for the people of Kampong Thom.

“World Vision Japan has been a steadfast partner since 1996, working across Cambodia to improve healthcare, education, and local economies. He expressed the Japanese government’s deep appreciation for the organization’s three decades of high-impact service to the Cambodian people. “ Ambassador Ueno added.

Education experts have long highlighted the importance of early primary education in shaping long-term academic success, particularly in rural communities where access to quality learning resources remains limited.

Japan has been a key development partner for Cambodia, especially in supporting education and community-based initiatives. Since the launch of the Grant Assistance for Japanese NGO Projects in Cambodia in 2002, Japan has contributed more than US$60 million to over 170 projects across the country. These projects have focused on critical sectors such as education, health, agriculture, and mine clearance. The latest initiative underscores continued cooperation between Japan and Cambodia in promoting inclusive and equitable education for all children.
