Phnom Penh: DinArt (Teang Borin) is a self-taught Cambodian artist whose work draws inspiration from the country’s cultural and religious heritage. His paintings revisit traditional themes such as Apsara dance and Buddhist symbolism, interpreted through a contemporary lens with expressive forms, textures, and vibrant colours. Recognised as an “artist to watch” by Prestige Hong Kong, DinArt has exhibited internationally, bringing Cambodian contemporary art to a wider global audience.
The exhibition presents a series of works that reflect an abstract impression of Cambodia’s spiritual and cultural landscape. Through gesture and composition, the artist invites viewers to engage with familiar motifs in a more personal and interpretive way.
“Through my work, I try to capture the energy and spirit of Cambodia — not as a fixed image, but as something alive and evolving,” says DinArt.
“It is a way for me to connect tradition with my own experience today.” Alexander Scheible, General Manager of Plantation Urban Resort & Spa, comments: “We see Plantation as more than a place to stay. Hosting artists like DinArt allows us to create a space where guests can connect with Cambodia’s culture in a direct and personal way. His work brings a strong sense of identity into our environment. After hosting international artists and promoting Cambodia as an artistic destination, we are pleased to feature one of the country’s notable contemporary talents.”
The exhibition will be held at the award-winning Plantation Urban Resort & Spa, located in the centre of Phnom Penh, and is open to both hotel guests and external visitors from 31st May until 31st July 2026.
