Phnom Penh: On 14 July 2026, Ms Khek Khemrath, Chief Executive Officer of KJet Group, Cambodia’s private aviation company, hosted a welcome dinner at Novotel Phnom Penh for a distinguished group of international entrepreneurs, travellers, digital content creators, and social media influencers who recently arrived in the Kingdom of Cambodia after travelling through several countries.
The delegation included participants from Norway, Chile, the United States, and Kenya, as well as a Russian fashion model. The visit was coordinated by Mr Joachim Bekkevold, a Norwegian entrepreneur and influencer who is currently living and working in Cambodia.

Collectively, these content creators have millions of followers across Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, and other digital platforms, including well-known channels such as CyberLocos, Creative Discovery, and Joachim Bekkevold’s personal page, along with several other international media platforms.
During their stay in Cambodia, they produced and shared content highlighting the country’s rich culture, historical heritage, tourism potential, investment opportunities, traditional Khmer cuisine, and the warmth and hospitality of the Cambodian people. Their stories and experiences are reaching millions of viewers worldwide, helping to raise global awareness of Cambodia and encouraging more international travellers and investors to discover the Kingdom.

Speaking at the event, Ms Khek Khemrath said, “In today’s digital era, content creators and social media influencers have become valuable partners in promoting countries to the world. Through their authentic experiences and storytelling, they can inspire millions of people to learn about Cambodia and choose it as their next travel destination.”

They also shared their intention to continue promoting Cambodia through their social media channels and digital platforms, reaching millions of followers around the world.
