DinArt’s Captivating “ELEVEN” Exhibition Opens at Plantation Urban Resort & Spa

Phnom Penh: On 31 May 2026, a striking collection of Apsara paintings by Cambodian artist Teang Borin (DinArt) opened at Plantation Urban Resort & Spa and will be on display for two months, from 31 May to 31 July 2026. The opening was attended by more than 150 art lovers, celebrities, and well-known public figures.

The exhibition presents a series of distinctive contemporary artworks inspired by Cambodia’s cultural and spiritual heritage. A self-taught artist, Teang Borin draws inspiration from the country’s traditions, religious symbolism, and artistic legacy, with recurring references to the elegance and grace of the Apsara dance.

Speaking at the opening, Teang Borin explained that this is his first exhibition at Plantation and that the collection reflects his ongoing exploration of Cambodia’s spiritual and cultural landscapes through abstract and symbolic forms.

DinArt’s Captivating “ELEVEN” Exhibition Opens at Plantation Urban Resort & Spa“Through my work, I try to capture the energy and spirit of Cambodia, not as a fixed image but as something living and evolving,” he said. “The faceless Apsaras invite visitors to imagine their own interpretation. Rather than defining an expression, I leave the face open to the viewer’s imagination.”

The artist also encouraged young Cambodians to pursue their creative ambitions with confidence and to actively engage with exhibitions and cultural events as a source of inspiration and learning.

The exhibition opening was complemented by a special performance from the Apsara School of His Royal Highness Prince Sisowath Tesso. Set amidst the lush tropical gardens of Plantation Urban Resort & Spa, the performance created a memorable atmosphere where traditional dance and contemporary visual art came together in harmony. The combination of living cultural heritage, artistic expression, and Plantation’s renowned green setting offered guests a uniquely Cambodian evening celebrating creativity, culture, and identity.

“Our exhibition programme reflects this connection and showcases the remarkable diversity of Cambodian artistic talent.
