Phnom Penh: Hyatt Regency Phnom Penh partners with Raffles International College Phnom Penh to unveil a student-designed fashion showcase at Metropole Underground on October 17, 2025. Featuring 15 standout pieces across three collections, the event celebrates Cambodia’s emerging design talent and the vibrant blend of tradition and innovation.
The Legacy of Honour Collection – Inspired by Cambodia’s UNESCO-recognised Chapey Dangveng instrument, this collection pays homage to cultural legacies while reimagining them for the modern age. Drawing from motifs of Angkor Wat, the legend of Preah Thong Neang Neak, and even contemporary architecture such as the V&A Dundee, the pieces embody a dialogue between heritage and modernity.
- The Spider Collection – Inspired by the mysterious strength of the spider, this line symbolises female power, resilience, and seduction. Influenced by sci-fi desert worlds such as Dune, it imagines a future where fashion is both protection and empowerment, presenting women as architects of their own destiny.
- The Crystal Collection – Inspired by the raw beauty and transformation of crystals, this collection explores the duality of strength and refinement. Each design reflects resilience, inner radiance, and the quiet power of evolution, capturing both the imperfect beauty of nature and the brilliance of polished clarity.
