Phnom Penh: On 11 June 2025, Shinkai Group collaborated with Himawari Hotel Apartments, and Myanmar entrepreneurs started the event series of meeting and mingling with entrepreneurs from different countries, bearing in mind to promote the various sectors of business entrepreneurs that are doing business in the Cambodian market within their community but are lesser known to the majority of local Cambodian consumers. The event also showcases and promotes unknown business entrepreneurs that are actually doing well. The small, minor SME to surface and let people know about them.
The event is kickstarted with Myanmar business entrepreneurs as first Meet & Mingle because Myanmar is a country that is very similar to Cambodia in terms of food, culture, and clothing and also the way that Myanmar people value their family and tradition.
The Cambodian market wants to know about Myanmar culture, Myanmar traditions, and the way Myanmar business entrepreneurs have been here already in Cambodia for many years and have been striving well. At the same time, the event wants to show the Myanmar businesspeople who are in Cambodia and the future Myanmar businesspeople that are coming into Cambodia to know the close cultural business relationships and the food that brings them together.
To grow the business wealth in this region together is a key purpose for this event. It’s letting the Cambodian people know how close the culture is and just to have good, happy networking, exchanging businesses, creating new businesses, and growing more business together.
In the future, the organizer and sponsors wish to have more of these kinds of events to promote all the different countries SMEs (small & medium enterprises) that are thriving in Cambodia.
