SBF HOSTS CAMBODIA SEMINAR TO STRENGTHEN BILATERAL BUSINESS RELATIONS

Singapore: On March 14th, the Singapore Business Federation (SBF) hosted its first Cambodia Seminar of 2025, titled “Finding Customers in Cambodia.” The event, which attracted over 80 participants, ranged from small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to multinational corporations (MNCs). The seminar was designed to explore the tremendous business opportunities and strategies for success in Cambodia’s dynamic and expanding market.

Focused on business owners and CEOs, the seminar provided invaluable insights into understanding the Cambodian market. Discussions covered topics such as market entry strategies, consumer behavior, and effective methods for building long-term business relationships. The event also served as a platform for sharing experiences and practical advice on navigating Cambodia’s competitive landscape.

Sok Khoeun, ambassador of Cambodia to Singapore, highlighted the deepening economic ties between the two nations. He noted the substantial increase in bilateral trade, which reached $4.8 billion USD in 2024, up from $3.34 billion USD in 2023. This growth reflects the ongoing strengthening of trade and business relations, especially significant as Singapore celebrates its 60th anniversary of independence (SG60).

Singapore Club Cambodia President Mr. Andrew Tay also spoke at the event, outlining the launch of the SCC Forward initiative. This new initiative is aimed at building a strong network of Singaporeans in Cambodia and offering vital support to businesses looking to enter or expand in the Cambodian market.
