PHNOM PENH: Oakwood Premier Phnom Penh proudly shares the ongoing success of its “Month of Giving: Canvas of Dreams” campaign, celebrating its second anniversary while raising funds for Tiny Toones Cambodia. This month-long initiative aims to empower young artists and promote Khmer culture through various engaging activities.
The campaign has two primary objectives: to provide essential financial support and resources to young artists in Cambodia, and to showcase Phnom Penh as a vibrant center for artistic expression. Every dollar raised throughout October will directly benefit Tiny Toones, an NGO dedicated to teaching arts, music, and dance to underprivileged children.
The campaign has successfully featured several activities, including the “Stay with a Purpose”, where a portion of every booking made in the month of October is donated to Tiny Toones Cambodia. Guests have also enjoyed an art exhibition showcasing stunning works from the SraArt Gallery, with a share of art sales contributing to the fundraising efforts. The “Meet the Artist” series has provided opportunities for guests to connect with the talented creatives behind the artworks, culminating in the final installment of this engaging program.
The highlight of the campaign is the upcoming Cocktail Gala on November 6th, which promises to be a spectacular evening for the community to come together and maximize fundraising efforts.
Attendees can look forward to an exciting auction and raffle draws, featuring prizes such as flight tickets from Air Asia, unique experiences, art pieces, and hotel accommodations. The event will also be attended by the Secretary of State from the Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts, further emphasizing the importance of this initiative. Notably, 100% of ticket sales will be donated to Tiny Toones, making this a truly impactful event.
This campaign not only aims to uplift young artists but also seeks to inspire community pride and strengthen Cambodia’s cultural identity.
