PHNOM PENH: No. 44 PR-19 / EoJ – On the evening of August 12th, 2019, H.E. Mr. HORINOUCHI Hidehisa, Ambassador of Japan to the Kingdom of Cambodia, hosted at his residence the Conferment Ceremony of the Imperial Decoration of the Grand Cordon of the Order of the Rising Sun on His Royal Highness Samdech Norodom Sirivudh, former Deputy Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia and High Privy Counselor of His Majesty the King of Cambodia.
The decoration was decided on May 21 , 201 9 by the Cabinet Office of the Government of Japan in recognition of His Royal Highness contribution to strengthening relationship and friendship between Japan and Cambodia.
Honorable guests were invited to the ceremony, during which the decoration was bestowed upon Samdech Norodom Sirivudh by H.E. Mr. HORINOUCHI on behalf of His Majesty the Emperor of Japan.
