Japanese Film Festival 2020 Open Ceremony at Major Cineplex in Aeon Mall Sen Sok City

Phnom Penh: Friday, 6th of November 2020 – The Japan Foundation, in cooperation with the Embassy of Japan, the Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts, and Cambodia-Japan Cooperation Center (CJCC) open ceremony the “Japanese Film Festival 2020” at Major Cineplex in Aeon Mall Sen Sok City.

The special attended an open remark by H.E. Mikami Masahiro, Ambassador of Japan to the Kingdom of Cambodia, and under the honorable presence of H.E.Dr. Phoeurng Sackona, Minister of Culture and Fine Arts, as well as many distinguished guests.

Following the ceremony, the audiences enjoyed a screening of “Talking the Pictures” with a laugh and applaud. The Japanese Film Festival 2020 was held on November 6-9 and 14-15 at Eden Garden Mall and AEON Mall Sen Sok City.

During the Festival, Japanese films selected from a wide range of different categories will be screened at the above-mentioned major theaters. The selection includes drama, mystery, animation, action, and comedy. These films portray various aspects of Japanese life, society, and culture and will provide a good opportunity for the audience to familiarize themselves with Japan and its people.
