MEGA FAM “LET’S DO SOMETHING DIFFERENT” IN SARAWAK KUCHING @ MALAYSIA

Tourism Malaysia hosted the Mega FAM under topic “Let’s Do Something Different” at Sarawak Kuching, Malaysia. A total of 8 prominent media and bloggers from 13 countries Austria, Australia, Germany, Laos, Cambodia, Korea, Japan, Singapore, Netherland, Taiwan, Russia, Vietnam and USA participants in the event, which took them on a tourism trail featuring some of Malaysia’s best tourist destinations.

Mega FAM “Let’s Do Something Different” was formatted as a treasure hunt, a race and social media contest that aimed to introduce and promote Malaysia’s unique culture, heritage, cuisine and other tourist offerings to the Asean and Europe market specially is publicise Malaysia by utilising social media and digital media platforms such as Instagram and Facebook.

This year’s edition of the of Mega FAM was themed “Let’s Do Something Different” to highlight the concept of beautiful Sarawak city in Malaysia. The event highlight about Sarawak is revealing a side of Asia unlike anywhere else, Sarawak offers an alternative for those seeking humble authenticity far from the tourist-trap clichés. Visiting Sarawak you can be done as a complementary trip to Peninsular Malaysia and neighboring countries or a journey discovery all on its own.
